Positions:

• Professor (6 posts)
• Associate Professor (7 posts)
• Assistant Professor (2 posts)

Salary:

• Professor: Rs 37400-67000 (Min. Rs 43000/-) RGP: Rs 10000/-
• Associate Professor: Rs 15600-39100 (Min. Rs 22320/-) RGP: Rs 8000/-
• Assistant Professor: Rs 15600-39100 RGP: Rs 6000/-

Eligibility:

Professor

• Doctoral Degree in Post Harvest Technology, Food Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Food Technology or Chemical Engineering specialized in food process engineering. Doctoral Degree in Biochemistry or similar qualification preferably with academic work pertaining to Food Processing.
• 10 years experience (excluding period spent in obtaining PhD degree) in a research/teaching/extension education provided 3 years experience as an Associate Professor. Candidates have to present service certificates in support of their claim of possessing experience.
• Age Limit: Not exceed 50 years.

Associate Professor
 

• Doctoral Degree in Post Harvest Technology, Food Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Food Technology or Chemical Engineering specialized in food process engineering.
• 4 years experience in the relevant subject as Assistant Professor or equivalent position having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education or Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic Sciences with 4 years experience of high quality post Doctoral research in an Institution of repute.
• For Technology and Engineering graduates: Doctoral Degree in Post Harvest Technology/ Food Engineering/Agricultural Engineering and at least 3 years of teaching/research experience in relevant field.
• Age Limit: Not exceed 45 years.

Assistant Professor

• Masters's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Plant pathology specialised in food processing areas and Plant physiology.
• If Candidates with Doctoral Degrees in relevant subjects are available they will be preferred over Master's Degree holders. NET qualified will also be given preference.
• Age Limit: Not exceed 30 years.
