The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), is an autonomous organisation of the Government of India, involved in India’s external cultural relations, through cultural exchange with other countries and their peoples. It was founded on April 9, 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India.

Recruitment at: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR)

Positions: Hindi teachers for deputation/appointment

Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100 GP Rs. 5400/-

Eligibility:
  • MA/MEd in Hindi from a recocnized university with at least 55% marks and 5 years' experience of Hindi teaching. The candidates should have adequate knowledge of English as well as the capability of giving talks/orientation on Indian History, traditions, art and cultural
     
  • The incumbent should have at least 3 years' service with his parent University/institution as on December 31, 2011. In case of non-serving incumbents the age should not be more than 57 years on the date of this advertisement.
     
  • The appointment would be subject to the concurrence of the parent University/institution of the incumbent.
Selection process: ICCR will call only short-listed candidates on the basis of criteria to be adopted by the selection committee.
